K.M. Taglialatella Foundation Hosts Second Annual Fundraiser with Rao’s Restaurant
The Katherine M. Taglialatella Foundation and Taglialatella Galleries hosted the Second Annual ‘Evening at Rao’s in Palm Beach’ Benefit on March 15th, 2012. One hundred percent of the funds raised at the event provided need-based scholarships for MCHR students from single-parent households. MCHR board members, Dom and Sally Taglialatella arranged the exquisite evening. Guests enjoyed hors d’oeurves, cocktails, and both silent and live auctions. Dom, a beloved member of the school family, grew up in East Harlem and was a parishioner at Holy Rosary Church. Following the live auction, he, along with Rao’s restaurant owner Frank Pellegrino and MCHR Principal Suzanne Kaszynski shared moving stories about adversities that both the students and the school have overcome. Co-Chairs for the benefit included Advisory Board members Susan Paolercio and Frank Pellegrino as well as Bill and Nancy Rollnick and the honorary chairman Patrick Park. Several loyal MCHR friends and supporters from New York also attended including Bill Finneran and John DeGregorio.
Mt. Carmel-Holy Rosary School is so grateful to the Taglialatella Gallery staff, Co-Chairs, and Dom and Sally Taglialatella for creating such a wonderful experience two years in a row. Bice Restaurant, Ron Straci, Rao’s Specialty Foods, Shannon Donnelly of the Palm Beach Daily News also graciously contributed to the evening’s success. Without the 100+ guests from all over the country who support our school, these scholarships and opportunities would not exist for deserving MCHR students.
