Donor Support Expands Early Childhood Services
Donor support led to renovated early childhood classrooms and restrooms and an expanded early childhood academic program. Through additional consultant services and administrative and marketing resources, MCHR was able to open a Pre-K3 classroom.
Donors’ Generosity Provides Exciting Programmatic Enhancements
Thanks to dedicated donors and Advisory Board members, students from MCHR were able to attend beautiful Rye Nature Center for a week-long summer program and to perform violin at the Waldorf Astoria to benefit the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters.
Dr. Kathy Reilly Fallon Prepares MCHR for an Outstanding Year
Thanks to Dr. Kathy Reilly Fallon and her Heavenly Productions Foundation organization, each student at MCHR received a free backpack at the beginning of the school year. Teachers also received a gift basket complete with classroom essentials and school supplies.
K.M. Taglialatella Foundation Hosts Second Annual Fundraiser with Rao’s Restaurant
The Katherine M. Taglialatella Foundation and Taglialatella Galleries hosted the Second Annual ‘Evening at Rao’s in Palm Beach’ Benefit on March 15th, 2012. One hundred percent of the funds raised at the event provided need-based scholarships for MCHR students from single-parent households.
MCHR Ballroom Dancers Host Special Guest
MCHR was chosen by Pierre Dulaine, founder of the American Ballroom Theater, to perform ballroom dance for Northern Ireland’s Secretary of State. This could not have been possible without the Dancing Classrooms program, supported by Brad and Barbara Evans.
Racing for Charity: MCHR and Rao’s Partner to Support the Ronald McDonald House
MCHR joined 28 other schools and over 1,000 runners in the Ronald McDonald House Fun Run in Central Park. Through the support of family members and friends, 36 students raised a grand total of approximately $3,000.
