Mt. Carmel-Holy Rosary School collaborates with various partners to bring robust programs that integrate and augment the curriculum and enhance students’ lives.
Programs support dance, music and fine arts that enrich students’ academic experiences and broaden their appreciation for the rich and often unexplored culture that surrounds them.

Violin and Vocal Program
All students at MCHR play the violin up until 5th grade. MCHR also benefits from the Ten O'Clock Classics who provide group violin lessons to our students who wish to pursue violin beyond, many going on to attend Juilliard and the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
Creative Classrooms Visual Arts Program
The Creative Classrooms Visual Arts Program (CCVAP) is a comprehensive, curriculum-integrated visual arts program for all grades.
Twice a week, professional dance instructors teach students the intricate steps of merengue, tango, salsa, foxtrot, rumba and swing. The class develops the participants’ communication, cooperation, and team-building skills while increasing their self-confidence.
New York Philharmonic School Partnership Program
Philharmonic Teaching Artists work with grades 3 and 4 to build students' musical understanding through the symphonic experience.
Artists of the Month
Through the “Artist of the Month” Program, the Taglialatella Gallery hosts class field trips to its NYC gallery space, supports an art library book collection, and loans the school original works of art.
"What Really Matters" Program
All six, seventh and eighth grade students and their parents are eligible to participate in "What Really Matters" workshops that address developing strength of character.
